Natural England
Great Crested Newt licence for all English Counties and EPS licence holder for various mitigation projects in the past.
Wide range of Great Crested Newt surveys including:
Sites for proposed housing developments.
Numerous surveys for road and motorway corridors.
Railway corridors (e.g. sections of the CTRL channel tunnel line).
Pipeline corridors (e.g. for Thames Water and Southern Water).
Surveys of ’brown field’ sites (e.g. Battersea Power Station).
Landfill sites, chalk pits and quarries.
Sites for proposed reservoirs.
Management surveys of commons etc. for groups like the
Surrey Wildlife Trust
.
Management plans for locations like Bushy Park.
Site ecologist for HCI at Orton Brick pits (UK’s largest colony of Great Crested Newts).
Extensive Crested Newt survey of Clwyd and Glamorgan for HCI on the behalf of Countryside Commission for Wales.
Considerable experience of Great Crested Newt translocations including a major mitigation programme for
Rural Arisings
at Church Marshes in Kent.
